Who we are

The Third Place started with a simple question:

What if there were more places to simply be?

In a world where so many spaces are built just for transactions, we wanted to create something different — a place where people can gather, connect, and create meaningful moments together.

That is The Third Place.

Located in East Waco, The Third Place is a membership social lounge, collaborative space, and gathering place designed around connection and community.

During member hours, the space becomes a shared living room for the city. Members can settle in to work, meet a friend, collaborate on an idea, read, create, or simply spend time around other people.

The space also opens its doors for private reservations, workshops, celebrations, meetings, and community events, giving people room to bring their own ideas and gatherings to life.

The Third Place grew from the same spirit that shaped Thrst Coffee. What began as a coffee shop became a place where people met, talked, collaborated, and built relationships. The Third Place gives those connections more room to grow.

Our work also connects with Seen, our nonprofit initiative supporting visibility, creative expression, and economic opportunity for artists and community builders.

Together, these spaces are part of a larger idea:

Community is something we can intentionally build.

We believe places can do more than extract value from the people who enter them. They can create value between people. They can make room for ideas, relationships, culture, opportunity, and belonging.

That is what we are building in East Waco.

A place to gather.

A place to build.

A place to be seen.
